1-Bit Hokusai's "The Great Wave" (2023)
bit Hokusai’s ”The Great Wave” 5 years ago I started a now completely stalled project (fingers crossed I can figure out how to restart soon) to draw all of Hokusai’s 36 views of Mount Fuji as 1-bit pixel art. Why? I started this project for no other reason than I love to get into the ‘flow state’ from this kind of creative endeavour, and obviously I love to use old Macintosh computers.
