Apple Lowers App Store Fees in Taiwan Starting October 31

Apple is lowering the commission that it collects in Taiwan to 26 percent, down from 30 percent. Apple plans to drop the rate for in-app purchase and paid app transactions on the iOS and iPadOS Taiwan storefront starting on October 31. The change comes after Apple held discussions with the Taiwan Fair Trade Commission (TFTC). Apple says developers do not need to sign updated terms by October 31 to get the reduced commission rate.
