Dutch central bank moves share of gold from U.S., Canada to London
The Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) has taken part of its gold supply out of the United States and Canada. The Dutch central bank will now keep the gold in London, making the city the place with the biggest share of Dutch gold, followed by Zeist. Some 86 tons of gold were moved from New York and Ottawa to London between March and August 2026. The amount represents nearly a third of the roughly 313 tons held in the two locations combined.
