EU Designates ChatGPT, Reddit, and Roblox as Major Digital Services. They now have until January 2027 to perform annual risk assessments, curb illegal content, protect minors, and boost transparency through audits and data access.
Today, the Commission has designated ChatGPT as a Very Large Online Search Engine (VLOSE), as well as Reddit and Roblox as Very Large Online Platforms (VLOPs), under the Digital Services Act (DSA).
