LLVM/Clang Lands Initial Compiler Targeting For Hygon x86 CPUs
wing the recent Hygon C86-4G CPU support added to the GCC 17 compiler, the open-source LLVM Clang compiler has similarly seen Hygon c86-4g-m4 / c86-4g-m6 / c86-4g-m7 CPU support merged. Hitting LLVM Git today ahead of the LLVM/Clang 23.1 release later in the year is initial targeting for Hygon x86 CPUs with the c86-4g-m4, c86-4g-m6, and c86-4g-m7 CPU targets.
