- Breaking - Australia - Technology Telstra says nationwide outage fully fixed, Triple Zero impact far wider than first thought Telstra says it has restored services following its nationwide outage, and admitted far more emergency calls were impacted by the tech failure than first thought. In a press conference on Wednesday evening, the telco’s chief financial officer, Michael Ackland, said a software defect has been identified as the cause of the problem, categorically ruling out any suggestion of a cyberattack.
