Yandex Supercomputers Unscathed After Ukrainian Strikes, Company Says

Yandex said Monday that all three of its supercomputers remained unharmed following a series of Ukrainian drone attacks against its data centers and have been moved to more secure locations. “Once brought back online, the computers will rejoin Yandex’s service infrastructure,” the Russian tech company said in a brief statement. “They will also continue to be used for training foundation language models.” It marks Yandex’s first comments about the three supercomputers — called Chervonenkis, Galushkin and Lyapunov — since Ukraine began launching air attacks against the company’s sites earlier this month.
