3D-printed ‘ghost gun’ discovered on suspect in connection to Brian Thompson assassination

Police are questioning a man in connection with the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, who is believed to have been in possession of a ghost gun created with a 3D printer.

A social media account seemingly belonging to Mangione describes the suspect as a Honolulu, Hawaii, resident with a bachelor's and master's degree in computer science from the University of Pennsylvania. It was reported last week that officials within the NYPD and the FBI had sought to expand the search for the assassin after releasing a statement where they claimed the suspect was no longer in New York. The NYPD also reported that they had recovered a burner phone and were attempting to use it to locate a person Mangione might have called before killing the healthcare executive and fleeing on an e-bike.
