New Echo speakers, Fire TVs, and - could it be, a color Kindle Scribe? These are some of the products we expect to see at Amazon's Devices and Services event next week.
The speaker pictured on the invitation looks like an Echo Studio seen from above, which was initially released in 2019 and received OTA firmware updates to give it spatial audio and a new white finish in 2022. The last Devices and Services event happened in 2023, when Amazon announced new Ring, Blink, Echo, and Fire TV products and the addition of generative AI to Alexa. SVP Panos Panay hosted an Alexa event in February 2025 to reinvigorate the launch of Alexa+, a generative AI-powered virtual assistant.
