5 More Physics Equations Everyone Should Know
These five equations should be part of your mental toolkit. They might even improve your bowling score.
In January I wrote a piece titled “ 5 Physics Equations Everyone Should Know.” Lots of you weighed in with your own nominations, and there were plenty of good suggestions. In 1911 people measured the energy during a nuclear reaction called a beta decay process (where an atomic nucleus produces an electron). Ulitimately, this leads to the second law of thermodynamics, which states that the total entropy of a closed system can only increase over time, or at least it can never decrease.
