A Minecraft Movie’s first trailer is equal parts goofy and creepy

Unsettling imagery aside, A Minecraft Movie looks like some silly family fun, with lots of one-liners, large-scale battles, and Jack Black exclaiming “I am Steve!” very proudly. Aside from Black, the movie also stars Jason Momoa, Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, Sebastian Eugene Hansen, and Jennifer Coolidge. It’s directed by Jared Hess of Napoleon Dynamite fame and is hitting theaters in North America on April 4th.
