A Retrospective on the Oils Project


Why Sponsor Oils? | blog | oilshell.org Every time I've released Oils in the last year, I've said I would write a project retrospective. Readers have been interested, but I usually want to get back to coding and design after an announcement.

For example, Aidan and I removed the "span ID" concept from the codebase, so we now have a single 24-byte Token object, with an 8-byte GC header.
