A16z speedrun opens applications for fifth event, offers $1M investment

A16z Speedrun is taking applications for its fifth event, where startups in the interactive and tech spaces receive advice and funding.

The 12-week startup speedrunning program begins on July 28 in Los Angeles, with a16z planning to invest up to $1 million into each company selected to participate. According to a16z, less than 1% of applicants will secure a spot, but those who do will gain not only the monetary investment from a16z but personalized feedback from the team and a network of other industry mentors, advisors and alumni of the program. Our goal is to provide more than just capital; we’re creating a launchpad where founders receive access to a16z’s deep networks, hands-on mentorship, and most importantly a community of ambitious builders that accelerates their success.”
