Fast track to about a year ago – I’m in college, learning the fundamentals of computer science, and I get the nostalgia-ridden wish to revisit my childhood favorite. I assume this part of code does something related to… displaying diagnostics?Naturally, the assembly is far from transparent, even with the nice graph visualization that the tool provides. I realized this, of course, through trial and error, though in hindsight it makes sense: the alternate flow of control from the parent segment seems to contain the logic of choosing the level within the cheat menu
