Adding a feature because ChatGPT incorrectly thinks it exists

Well, here’s a weird one. At Soundslice, our sheet music scanner digitizes music from photographs, so you can listen, edit and practice.

Turns out ChatGPT is telling people to go to Soundslice, create an account and import ASCII tab in order to hear the audio playback. So we put together a bespoke ASCII tab importer(which was near the bottom of my “Software I expected to write in 2025” list). To my knowledge, this is the first case of a company developing a feature because ChatGPT is incorrectly telling people it exists.
