Aethir to launch Qualcomm-based edge computing devices on May 23


Aethir, a decentralized GPU infrastructure firm, announced the retail release of Aethir Edge, an edge computing device powered by Qualcomm.

By pooling localized resources, Aethir Edge makes elite computing power accessible to all while enabling implementations across various industries, such as gaming, AI, VR/AR, and real-time streaming. Combined with a growing number of data center outages that impacted cloud services and applications utilizing those servers, the need for more resilient architecture has never been more critical. The public sales event for this release is scheduled for May 23, 2024, and will be organized in multiple rounds to ensure that active community members have priority in purchasing these devices.
