African ‘gender equal’ VC Janngo Capital closes second fund at $78M


Pan-African VC firm Janngo Capital has closed its oversubscribed second fund at €73 million, 20% more than its target.

The firm currently records an IRR of 48% from last year’s exit of the Tunisian expense management platform Expensya to Medius, a provider of accounts payable (AP) automation. Janngo Capital’s check size ranges between €150,000 to €5 million in startups operating across healthcare, logistics, financial services, retail, agritech, mobility, and the creator economy sectors. With offices in Abidjan, Mauritius, Tunis, and Paris, the firm houses a team of operating partners skilled in tech, sales, marketing, and ESG to support its portfolio companies.
