After a string of carrier service outages, satellite messaging in Android 15 could bring stability
We’ve seen major outages on some of the most-used services on the planet recently, and satellite connectivity may be the solution.
”Some customers, primarily in Midwestern and Western states, experienced a service interruption for several hours yesterday,” a Verizon spokesperson said on May 31. This is especially true in Midwestern and Western states, where the Verizon outage occurred since people are more likely to live in rural areas where a cell phone could be their only way to get help in an emergency.
