Recent CBS reporting highlights the staggering implications: fraud losses tied to AI deepfakes are predicted to more than triple to $40 billion in the next three years. Deepfakes utilize advanced AI techniques, like deep learning and generative adversarial networks (GANs), to produce fake videos, audio, or images that are almost indistinguishable from real content.
