When AirPods Max launched in 2020, users found a lot to like about the over-ear headphones, but two complaints stood out: It’s unknown whether other big design updates are in store, but it’s possible Apple will need to change the overall AirPods Max look to achieve its weight goal. Ming-Chi Kuo recently reported that Apple plans for the hardware revision to “enter mass production in 2027.”
