All of Apples new iPhone 16 phones are capable of faster wired charging

That's a nice surprise.

During its keynote on Monday, Apple did mention that the new iPhone 16 range of devices support faster wireless charging. For the end users, this means that they should be able to get their iPhone 16 devices to charge faster than ever if they use a compatible 45W charger. It will take some real-world testing to see which chargers work best, and whether you can get a meaningfully faster charge this way, though.
