Brave for PCs and Android devices is built on top of Chromium which is open source project developed by Google. Chromium/Blink = Chrome, Vivaldi, Brave, Chromium, Edge, Opera, Samsung Internet Browser, Kiwi, etc. With Europe's DMA in place, “the gatekeeper is no longer going to be able to dictate what you use or try to force you to use software you do not like," says Vivaldi chief Jon von Tetzchner.
