Amazon acknowledges screen issues on a ‘small number’ of Kindle Colorsoft units
After more than a decade of waiting, Amazon’s first color Kindle has stumbled out of the gate. An issue with the new display has left Colorsoft buyers
The company confirmed the display issues affecting a “small number” of units in a statement sent to TechCrunch “We’re aware of a small number of reports from customers who see a yellow band along the bottom of the display,” Amazon says. Amazon has yet to acknowledge reports like this one from Good E-Reader stating that the company has pushed back shipping on units as it scrambles to find a software fix.
