Amazon has quickly removed Assistive Reader from the Kindle


Amazon has remotely disabled the new Assistive Reader for the Kindle e-reader.

Last week, Amazon released a new software update for its 11th and 12th generation Kindle e-readers. The Kindle will have to be connected to Bluetooth headphones or earbuds to listen to the text-to-speech content. Michael Kozlowski has written about audiobooks, e-books and e-readers for the past eighteen years.
