While the company’s press release for the new feature doesn’t mention AI, Amazon confirmed to TechCrunch that recaps are AI-generated. Kindle device users in the United States can now view short recaps for books they’ve either purchased or borrowed for thousands of best-selling English-language eBooks in series.
