Amazon sued for alleged Prime delivery disparities in two majority-Black DC neighborhoods

Amazon is being sued for allegedly excluding two majority-Black DC neighborhoods from receiving Prime deliveries quickly.

Schwalb claims that, beginning in 2022, Amazon stopped using its in-house delivery systems for Wards 7 and 8 while still charging those customers the same amount for a Prime subscription. Amazon has since provided Prime Free Same-Day Delivery to Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood, Chicago's South Side and the Bronx in New York City.
