In a packed presentation kicking off this year’s Computex trade show, AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su spent plenty of time focusing on the subject of AI. While AMD is aware of the interest, they aren’t bringing a PCIe card to market right now – and reading between the lines, it sounds like they’re already selling everything they can make as OAM modules. Architecturally, AMD is revealing today that CDNA 4 will bring with it native support for even lower precision data formats – FP4 and FP6 – matching similar announcements from other vendors.
