AMD RDNA 3.5 Cleaner Shader Support Prepped For Linux 6.15


Ahead of the imminent Linux 6.15 merge window expected to begin next week, a batch of AMDGPU/AMDKFD Radeon kernel driver updates were sent out on Friday for this next kernel cycle

Over the past several months has been work by AMD Linux graphics software engineers on enabling cleaner shader support for various hardware generations. This is part of their effort for helping to ensure user/app isolation for clearing and initializing certain GPU resources. Michael is also the lead developer of the Phoronix Test Suite, Phoromatic, and OpenBenchmarking.org automated benchmarking software.
