Apex Legends and Titanfall studio reportedly cancels unannounced FPS
Respawn - the team that brought us Apex Legends and Titanfall - has reportedly cancelled an unannounced first-person multiplayer shooter.
A post by former Respawn production coordinator Emilee Evans shared via LinkedIn on Wednesday said that the "unannounced incubation project" she had been a part of for the last year had been canceled. "The unannounced incubation project I was a part of for the past year was canceled this week, so I am joining the group of extremely talented and kind people in the games industry searching for a new role" (via, GamePost). While there is no concrete information on what the project Evans was working on was, an earlier job listing for the studio's incubation game team hinted that it was a multiplayer FPS in very early stages, with the post specifically highlighting the successful candidate would have "significant professional experience designing Multiplayer FPS experiences".
