The global app economy continued to recover in 2024, after an earlier slowdown in 2022 — at least in terms of consumer spending. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen signs that the app ecosystem’s massive growth may be finally starting to level out. The U.S. accounted for a large portion of that overall pie, as $47.6 billion in consumer spending came from users in the U.S., up 11% year-over-year.
