Apple @ Work: The end of Windows 10 could give Apple a major boost in the enterprise
Windows 10 reaches end of life in October 2025, and Apple’s growing Mac momentum in the enterprise could accelerate as IT teams rethink their device strategy.
Enterprise demand stayed strong, but a lot of Q1’s strength was likely vendors and customers pulling in shipments early to get ahead of the new US tariffs announced on April 2. With Apple Silicon offering multi-year hardware support, fast performance, and strong security out of the box, it’s become easier to justify the total cost of ownership for a Mac compared to a fleet of aging PCs. If you’ve already built out management tools for iPhone and iPad (and I’d argue almost every modern enterprise has), the infrastructure is already in place to expand macOS support with just a few clicks.
