Apple donating $5 per Apple Store purchase made with Apple Pay for World AIDS Day
Apple customers using Apple Pay to purchase goods via its retail outlets will trigger a donation to The Global Fund, as part of a donation campaign ahead of World AIDS Day.
Every year, Apple marks World AIDS Day on December 1 with (PRODUCT)RED window displays and promotion of related books. The donations will be supplied to The Global Fund, which is used to help fight HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria around the world. In 2023, Apple revealed that it had raised over a quarter billion dollars for the Global Fund through the initiative.
