Apple Expected to Win Rights to Formula 1 With $150M Bid


Apple is expected to win the rights to stream Formula 1 races on Apple TV+ in the United States thanks to a $150 million bid, Business Insider...

According to sources familiar with the negotiations, Disney is apparently unwilling to match or beat Apple's offer. Interest from other suitors, such as Netflix, was also reportedly "muted," leaving Apple has the leading bidder for the U.S. rights to show the races. Last week, it emerged that Chinese display manufacturer BOE was aggressively ramping up its OLED production capacity for future iPhone models as part of a plan to recapture a major role in Apple's supply chain.
