Following in the footsteps of the Apple iPad, the iPhone may also feature an advanced tandem OLED display, which would enable significantly higher screen brightness and lower power consumption. Apple is reportedly already in negotiations with LG Display and Samsung Display regarding simplified tandem OLED panels.
This would reduce costs while enabling higher brightness and lower power consumption compared to the OLED display of the iPhone 16 Pro.
