Apple launches $19.99 monthly AppleCare One subscription with coverage for three devices

Until now, people have had to enroll their Apple devices into separate AppleCare+ plans if they wanted additional coverage for their products beyond the standard warranty.

Apple announced on Wednesday that it’s launching AppleCare One, a new $19.99 monthly subscription plan that includes coverage for up to three products. Until now, people have had to enroll their Apple devices into separate AppleCare+ plans if they wanted additional coverage for their products beyond the standard warranty. To verify that a device is in “good condition,” it may be required to undergo a diagnostic check using a customer’s iPhone or iPad, or at an Apple Store, before being added to the plan.
