Apple is making it easier for iPhone, iPad, and Mac users in the U.S. to donate towards wildfire recovery efforts in the Los Angeles, California area. "Our hearts go out to all impacted by the ongoing devastation in LA," said Apple CEO Tim Cook, in a social media post today. A new social engineering tactic is being used by cybercriminals to trick iPhone users into disabling iMessage's built-in phishing protection, in a bid to expose them to malicious links and scams, according to BleepingComputer.
