Apple Maps finally comes to the web | Mashable
This took long enough.
More than a decade after it launched on phones, Apple Maps is now also available in your preferred computer's web browser window. For Apple users, this isn't a huge deal as Maps is already available as a standalone desktop app on Macs, but now you can access it from any browser which is...nice, I guess? The interface is pretty sparse, offering only Search, Guides, and Directions, while the data layers on offer are Standard, Hybrid, and Satellite (the desktop app version also has a 3D toggle, Apple's Look Around function, additional data layers, and more).
