Apple might increase iPhone prices this fall

It's not about tariffs.

This is according to a new report from the Wall Street Journal, which cites people familiar with the matter as saying that Apple is "weighing price increases" for its fall iPhone lineup. The tariff ping-pong that the Trump administration has been playing with China (the two countries agreed on Monday to greatly reduce the recently imposed sky-high tariffs) is certainly partially to blame — and that's despite Apple saying that it moved most of its U.S.-bound production to India. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman previously said that this model will start at roughly $899.
