Apple Pay and Apple Cash appear to be down for many, leaving iPhone users without Apple’s built-in payment features.
Personally, I had an Apple Pay transaction fail after a long delay around 11:50 a.m. then it worked after a re-try shortly thereafter. Apple Pay is the feature you use when shopping at merchants, and is compatible with a variety of credit and debit cards. Apple Cash is a peer-to-peer payment option generally used for paying friends and family, similar to Venmo.
