Apple releases developer beta 5 for visionOS 26


Alongside its other operating systems, Apple just released the fifth developer beta of visionOS 26. Here's what's new

As announced on WWDC25, visionOS 26 brings spatial widgets, a much-improved Personas feature, support for 180-degree and 360-degree videos from action cams like Insta360 and GoPro, and PSVR 2 controllers. As for today’s release, Apple hasn’t yet detailed what (if any) new features or changes have been made, beyond the usual under-the-hood improvements and bug fixes. He began covering Apple news in Brazilian media in 2012 and later broadened his focus to the wider tech industry, hosting a daily podcast for seven years.
