Apple reverses course on blocking web apps in the EU


Apple has reversed its plans to restrict access to certain web apps in the EU. Apple will continue to offer the existing Home Screen web apps.

In an update to a developer support page, as reported by 9to5Mac, Apple says it will “continue to offer the existing Home Screen web apps capability in the EU” in iOS 17.4.
