Apple shareholders rejected an anti-DEI proposal at its investor meeting Tuesday. The proposal was brought by a conservative group called the National

The proposal was brought by a conservative group called the National Center for Public Policy Research (NPPR). This proposal gained national attention, however, because Apple’s recommendation against it comes as other tech companies are trimming or eliminating their DEI programs. However, CEO Tim Cook warned at the meeting that “as the legal landscape around these issues evolves, we may need to make some changes to comply,” Reuters reported.
