Apple steps in to defend Google, says it 'does not plan to create a search engine' of its own

Apple is coming to the rescue.

Google's recent legal troubles have taken an interesting turn, as Apple has made a motion to participate in an upcoming hearing to defend the company and their joint Search deal (via Reuters).
