Apple to start manufacturing iPhone Pro in India, report claims

Likely just a few weeks after iPhone 16 Pro launches.

The first iPhone Pro models to be made in India could be coming as soon as September or October this year. Foxconn, which operates primarily in China, will build the new iPhone Pro models in its factory in India's southernmost state, Tamil Nadu. The company plans to build all of the iPhones it sells in India locally to avoid import duties.
