Apple Voice Dictation Writes 'Trump' When You Say 'Racist'

in blog date 2/25/2025 TikTok users discovered that when you say ‘Racist’, Apple’s voice dictation briefly flashes ‘Trump’ in the text field before correcting to ‘Racist.’ I have independently verified this behaviour. Your browser does not support the video tag.According to Apple, dictation data is sent to them for training: Most likely, this behaviour is an artefact of such training — a machine learning model independently forming a strong correlation between usage of the two words.
