Apple…is nearing the launch of a new product category: a wall-mounted display that can control appliances, handle videoconferencing and use AI to navigate apps…The device has a roughly 6-inch screen and looks like a square iPad. Gurman reported the HomePad was expected in March initially, but recently suggested it might be a little later—perhaps in April alongside iOS 18.4. If Apple is able to build a powerful Home ecosystem, it could lead to even more new products moving forward, like an AirPort revival.
