Apple recorded the highest year-over-year growth among major computer vendors in the United States during the first quarter of 2025, with shipments increasing 28.7% and market share rising from 14.2% to 16.0%, according to newly published data from Canalys. The first quarter surge in computer shipments is primarily attributed to vendor efforts to front-load inventory ahead of anticipated U.S. tariff changes. The feature is currently offered by select automakers, including Audi, BMW, Hyundai, Kia, Genesis, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, and a handful of others, and it is set to expand further.
