Apple's MagSafe Duo charger is on sale for a new record-low price, saving you $50
It's technically discontinued, but the 2-in-1 wireless charger still works with the iPhone 15.
Eons ago (back in 2020), when Apple first introduced its MagSafe Duo 2-in-1 wireless charger, Mashable recommended that you pass on it for one key reason: "At $129, it's already pretty pricey," wrote tech and games reporter Alex Perry, "and Bloomberg's Mark Gurman noted that you need to supply your own power adapter, with Apple's 30W USB-C adapter delivering a total of 'up to' 14W wireless charging on MagSafe Duo for an extra $50." Cut to now: The Amazon-owned deals site Woot has the MagSafe Duo on sale for just $79.99 (as of Feb. 7), taking $49.01 off its $129 sticker price. The fine print here (and the presumed reason why it's so cheap) is that Apple quietly discontinued the MagSafe Duo back in fall 2023, right after announcing the iPhone 15 line.
