Apple's new AI-powered Siri can use apps for you

Apple previewed a new version of Siri that can take actions on your behalf and understand a wide range of new queries.

Here's all of the news announced at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference 2024, including all of the changes coming to iOS 18 later this year. The 2024 Mac software, coming this fall, includes iPhone mirroring and notification, a new passwords app and Safari upgrades. Microsoft showed off three new Xbox models yesterday, but anyone following the mass of leaks last year may have been surprised at how little changed for this mid-cycle refresh.
