Apples iPhone 17 could come with a $50 price hike

The latest one is the type that we don't like to see, reporting a possible price hike across the upcoming iPhone 17 lineup. The reason for the change, according to the report, is offsetting rising component costs and U.S. tariffs on China. The report also notes that other potential cost pressures from India (where Apple is now manufacturing a big chunk of its iPhones), as well as sector tariffs, are not yet included.
